Due to unprecedented low numbers of people living with MND in the Bath and N.E. Somerset (which of course is a good thing) a decision has been taken to suspend the Support Group for the foreseeable future.
The purpose of the Support Group is to enable people living with MND to meet others in a similar situation and with MNDA volunteers who offer signposting to information regarding management of MND.
If I receive information indicating this support is needed in the future I will be happy to reconvene the group.
We have a special guest, Marie Suzanne Magee from Dorothy House Hospice, attending the Support Group meeting in Bath on Wednesday 6th July. She will be speaking and offering advice on how Hospices can help people with MND and their carers and families. All are welcome.
The meeting starts at 2:00 pm until 3:30 pm at the usual venue – Fox Hill Community Centre, Hawthorn Grove (off Entry Hill), Bath BA2 5QD
